Hi. I'm Jessica. I'm a small town girl from Wisconsin and relocated to the Kansas City area when I was 18. I am a single mom and have the world's coolest kid! (I'm not bias, I promise!) Also mother of two fur babies, the sweetest black kitties.

 

I grew up in the theatre and was surrounded by music and art my whole life. I've always loved taking pictures and I'm convinced I took the first selfie with one of those disposable cameras way back in the 90's.

 

My family used to do photo shoots all the time when I was a kid. We would hang up sheets in our kitchen as a backdrop or walk around my quaint little town to find the perfect setting..

Since then, I've moved from the modeling role to the one behind the camera, and I'm truly in love. It's taken me many years to find out what I wanted to be when I grew up. I've been told if you do something you absolutely enjoy, it won't feel like work. That's how I feel about photography. I've finally found something that brings me joy and allows me to use my creative talents.

I'm a self-taught photographer who has always been interested in the details that make life beautiful. My creativity and passion come from a genuine love for wanting to celebrate life's milestones with the beauty that surrounds us everyday.

A picture is worth a thousand words but the smile of a newborn, the kiss of a newly engaged couple and the warm embrace of family are priceless.
